Gemmayzeh doesn’t sleep and Parallel doesn’t stand still.
In a district known for energy and edge, this once-ordinary space was flipped on its head in record time. What was safe and predictable is now immersive and magnetic - a venue that effortlessly slides between intimate restaurant andhigh-voltage nightlife, all with the flick of a light.
I didn’t just redesign Parallel. I reprogrammed its DNA.
From the entrance façade that now draws people in like moths to flame, to the clever choreography of mirrors reflecting patterns on the walls and ceiling , everything was engineered to spark curiosity and connection.
But the true power lives in the lighting system. Every beam, every shadow was designed to transform emotion. One moment, it's a glowing cocoon for conversation. The next, it's pulsing to the rhythm of the night. The space doesn't just change, it responds.
Art comes alive here. Hand-painted walls, lush greenery, and statement tilework collide in a space that feels curated, not constructed. It's bold but warm. Raw but refined.
This wasn't built over months. It was manifested in a matter of weeks - with intention, instinct, and an eye locked on bar life in Lebanon.
Parallel isn’t just a bar. It’s a mood-shifter. A shape-shifter. A bold answer to a city that never stays the same.
