A Facelift That Brought the Soul Back.
The Riviera Beach Resort in Beirut spans approximately 10,000 square meters, encompassing its beach club facilities, including 3 large outdoor swimming pools, an in-pool bar, a public Jacuzzi, 6 private bungalows with Jacuzzis, 8 turning sunbeds, and a private VIP lounge with a private pool and a Jacuzzi for 12 persons.
The Riviera Beach Club has always had a name that carried weight. A view that stole breath. A history written in sun, music, and memory. But somewhere along the way, it paused - frozen in time while the world around it kept evolving.
I didn't come in to reinvent it. I came to wake it up.
This wasn't a full-scale redesign. It was a surgical facelift, executed on a razor-sharp timeline, with a clear mission: bring energy back to the surface - fast. No gimmicks. No over-designing. Just instinct, speed, and intention.
I reworked flow, movement, and presence. Reimagined spatial dynamics so every corner had a reason to exist. The lounges were elevated, the walkways restructured, and the pools and poolside areas reshaped to feel fresh but familiar. I used raw textures, clean lines, and sun-warmed tones to draw the eye toward the water and keep it there.
I didn't just guide the transformation. I lived it, day in and day out. From sunrise to final light check, I moved with a team of 80+ specialists across every square meter of the beach club, orchestrating a high-speed facelift with no room for error. Every material choice, every layout shift, every texture ran through my hands and vision. This was less about directing from afar and more about being deep in the build, breathing life back into an icon that deserved nothing less.
It was about giving Riviera back its voice - not as a trend, but as a feeling. A place that doesn't beg for attention, but earns it the moment you walk in. One that doesn’t try too hard, yet somehow feels exactly right.
And in the end, that's what made it matter.
Not because I changed everything.
